Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

– Create, test, maintain and upgrade data structure, algorithms and systems, and develop predictive models according to company’s objective
– Improve data quality and system efficiency, reduce bugs and errors;
– Develop customized algorithms to read, collate, summarize and assemble large and complex data sets based on project requirements
– Spearheaded the design of new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into various systems, like online intelligent customer service system; Build AI models from scratch, improve the efficiency of artificial intelligence systems;
– Design, implement, deploy and continuously optimize algorithmic solutions in product matching, price comparison etc. to support advanced data analysis
– Actively recognize and control the risk/low quality issue in in the e-Commerce scenario;
– Assess the value of latest solution-enhancing developments and present detailed proposals as appropriate
– Participate in all aspects of the software development cycle, design, development, and testing;
– Coordinate and support the development and deployment appropriate software components & hardware components;
– Work with software developers and database architects on information system integrity and compatibility and ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects
– Continuously maintain and improve the robustness, stability, and computational efficiencies of algorithm solutions in live business environment
– Other tasks as assigned

Skills / Qualifications
– Language: English
– BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Science, Technical, Math or related field
– 4+ years of professional experience in software development and engineering skills in Math/Algorithm Development
– Understand deep learning algorithms, like a convolutional neural network, recurrent neural network, and generative adversarial network
– Familiar with commonly used algorithm models (such as CF, FM, Word2vec, LR, GBDT, DNN)
– Advanced coding skills in Python, Java, Scala, C++ or JavaScript, etc.
– Knowledge about database systems and data warehousing
– Excels at mathematics, statistics, and numerical computation
– Strong project management and organizational skills
– Problem-solving skills, time management, teamwork, and critical thinking ability
– Aptitude for developing and integrating machine learning capabilities into custom systems
– Good oral and written communication skills
– Cross-team collaboration skills
