Job Description
Lex Tec Inc. is a business based in Markham, Ontario, offering a variety of high-quality electrical components and accessories. The Company imports the majority of its products and offers them to Canadian and U.S. clients at competitive prices.
We are seeking to hire a permanent, full time Purchasing and Inventory Management coordinator on urgent basis in our Markham location located at 4-5 160 Don Park Rd. Markham, ON L3R 1C3.
As a coordinator for purchasing and inventory for the corporation, you will be required to:
- Maintain work records and logs of the purchases and inventory which is assembled inside warehouse
- Coordinate activities with the production unit and warehouse supervisor
- Manage supply workflow and database for assembly and manufacturing and report to the warehouse supervisor or front desk
- Monitor production process
- Provide customer service to vendor and customer for critical issues
- Prepare requisition for materials that are required for assembly and, production and supply to clients
- Follow-up on issues, delivery status and completion of work with the vendors, suppliers and material providers
- Order supplies and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Maintain inventory of imported equipment and ensure adequate time and inventory sheets are prepared for daily submission to supervisor.
- Establish, maintain and improve contacts with our suppliers and vendors, locally and internationally.
- Coordinate between vendor and client for the inventory and equipment clarification, installation and codes.
Candidate will require to communicate in English,
Technical knowledge on import and export is highly appreciated.
The candidate shall reflect traits in excellent oral communication, and bear strong ethics and reliability.
Candidate is required to have a minimum of High School Certificate, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 1 year experience.
Salary expectations: Between CAD 27$ to 29$ an hour, for a minimum of 30 hours per week. (Full time staff requirement)
